Hot Flash Heat Wave will self-release their Neapolitan LP on September 11th. Today, we check out the band’s final single, “Homecoming“, off the upcoming album. Having now graduated from their lo-fi chill wave days, HFHW has really honed in on an infectious brand of raucous pop over the past several years. “Homecoming” finds the band exploring the garagey side of what they do with blaring abandon, and while singer Nathaniel sounds anxious wondering when his baby will come home, this group sure knows how to sugar coat their jitters in a sweet sounding glee.
