As you might imagine, the best place to catch The King Khan & BBQ Show is at a small club in the basement of Hell–surrounded by a host of unsavory characters and…puppets. In lieu of that, YouTube will have to do. Today, we check out the new video for “Illuminations“, off the band’s 2015 LP Bad News Boys, out now on In The Red Records. Shot and edited by Stuart Simpson, with puppet design by Nick Kocsis, of course, the real stars here are King Khan and his BBQ half, Mark Sultan. Scantily clad in bondage gear and masks, the body painted pair are joined by dancing girls in some lowly realm of hell that seems reserved only for puppet wranglers.
