Deerhunter will release their Fading Frontier LP on October 16th via 4AD. Today we watch the band’s new video for “Breaker“, off the upcoming album. The track is a first ever duet between founding members Bradford Cox and Lockett Pundt. The video follows suit in that it was directed and edited by Cox, with additional footage from Pundt. The two also star in the video alongside appearances from Deerhunter members Moses Archuleta and Josh McKay. Following a fairly straight forward set-up that finds the band playing and singing in front of a weathered blank wall, the video uses kaleidoscopic compositing and rotated imagery to hypnotic effect.
