Today we listen to Circa Tapes new track “Adagio“. The work of Chicago musician Adam Killing, of the long standing industrial-leaning outfit Kill Memory Crash, look for the new cut on Circa Tapes upcoming LP Kolektique–due out October 16th via Atlanta’s very fine DKA Records. “Adagio” kicks off the album, and it finds Killing exploring his interests in cold wave and Italo disco with chilly aplomb. Built around a bass line that bounces with robotic funk, Killing adds pulsing kicks, metal sharp snares, and icy hi-hats to his intricate and seductive rhythms, while catatonic female vocals invite you to, “leave your love behind”.
