Watch: Oneohtrix Point Never “Sticky Drama”

973

Oneohtrix Point Never teams up with the visual artist and essayist Jon Rafman on this two-part video for “Sticky Drama“. The track is off Daniel Lopatin‘s upcoming LP Garden of Delete due out November 13th via Warp Records. Like the cut itself, there’s an overload of nearly familiar yet bizarre imagery, all tied together with a Fantasy-like cyber narrative.

The film itself was inspired by Live Action Role Play, and stars a cast of over 35 children. Blending various quest narratives into a tangled mini-epic that includes elements from Garden of Delete‘s Ezra storyline, which if you’re just tuning in involves strange visitations from a street kid with a debilitating skin condition, “Sticky Drama” is a panoptical fever dream of crusading children, raging teens, and a sentient piece of goo!

Beginning this month Oneohtrix Point Never will team up with video artist Nate Boyce for a series of live audio/visual performances. The two will play select cities around the world. Here is a list of the dates…
