Garage punk revivalists Shannon and the Clams released their Gone by the Dawn LP this year on Hardly Art. Today we take a look at their newest video for “It’s Too Late“. Directed by Dan Shaw and Ryan Browne, and featuring “animatronic critters” made by the band’s guitarist Cody Blanchard, here’s a cautionary tale about getting too loaded with beer swilling cowhands. Our hapless protagonist tosses back a few too many before taking an unfortunate spill off the back of a joy ridin’ pick-up, only to find himself rolling down a hill into an enchanted forest of surreal creatures.
Shannon and the Clams leave for a short European tour next week, and finish up 2015 with a New Years Eve show in San Francisco at The Great American Music Hall. Here is a list of those upcoming dates…
