Today we check out METZ new video for “Spit You Out“, off the band’s 2015 LP ll (Sub Pop). Featuring strobodelic live footage of the group, combined with high energy still shots from Toronto-based photographer Amanda Fotes, Scott Cudmore‘s editing pulls everything together with some seriously seizure inducing visuals. Monochromatic for the first half, and focused on massive light blooms, by the time METZ skid off the bridge into a flaming sonic pile-up, Cudmore switches to an eye searingly solarized look sure to cause hypnagogic flashbacks and extended retinal damage! METZ will play select US dates this coming January, before heading off to tour Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and China. Check ‘me out here…
