Golden Void‘s excellent sophomore LP, 2015’s Berkana (Thrill Jockey), is like opening a time capsule back to the days when San Francisco was ground zero for hard rock and psych! Recorded with Tim Green (The Fucking Champs) at his remote country studio, Louder, the band captures a heady and Arcadian groove on the record. Today we watch Golden Void’s new video for their standout track, “Dervishing“. The visuals quite fittingly re-purpose footage from the 1970 short film Knot Without Hope, by David R. Morgan, and this Aquarian fever dream is the perfect soundtrack for Golden Void’s vintage sonics.
