Marissa Nadler‘s brand new track “Janie In Love” is off her Strangers LP due out May 20th via Sacred Bones. Nadler reports via her Facebook page that the forthcoming record was recorded once again in Seattle with producer Randall Dunn (Sunn O))), Earth, Wolves In the Throne Room). She goes on to add that “many of the players” on her 2014 LP July returned to work on the upcoming album–as well as “new collaborators (and new sounds).” “Janie In Love” features lush, layered instrumentation, with Dunn’s skilled production yielding darkly detailed low end, while Nadler’s gorgeous and narcotic voice shines throughout.
