The Soft Moon played a riveting set last night to a packed house at the Barboza in Seattle. Singer/guitarist Luis Vasquez was joined by a live drummer and bassist, and the animated frontman led the trio thru an hour plus set that included a large dose of tracks from the band’s stellar 2015 LP Deeper (Captured Tracks)–one of our 10 Favorite Albums of last year! With near flawless execution the group delivered an unrelentingly driving and visceral night of music complete with Vasquez playing on a mic’d garbage can bottom.
