Featuring some of the group’s core members like Frédéric D. Oberland, Stéphane Pigneul, and Gareth Davis, this cut also includes former frontman for The Ex, G.W.Sok. Here, the Dutch vocalist recites “The Strangest Creature on Earth”, a poem by Nazim Hikmet. Speaking with an assertive directness, Sok delivers the Turkish poet’s gripping narrative with an acerbic dryness, adding an additional layer of gravitas to the group’s tense and cinematic ambience.
