Useless Eaters played a tight and noisy set this past Sunday night at The Earl in Atlanta, and Live Eye Tv photographer Matthew Grindstaff was there to catch all the action. Singer/guitarist Seth Sutton led his band through a frenetic set of angst-driven punk on that night, as he and the group wrapped up one of their last shows in the US before they head off to Europe for more live dates. In addition, the band is getting set to release their Relaxing Death LP on June 3rd via Castle Face Records, and today we listen to their new track “Electrical Outlet“. Regimented and atonal, this cut’s driving rhythm and jagged guitar lines cut shark like swaths thru a thick industrial sludge, while Sutton offers lines like, “Plug my head into an electrical outlet”. I wouldn’t do that man!
