Today, we catch up with Junior Boys‘ new video for “No One’s Business“, off their 2016 LP Big Black Coat (City Slang). Directed by Simon Mercer, who potentially takes the song’s title as his inspiration here, the video depicts one man’s offbeat courtship of a lounging “love doll”. As Woody Allen has attested, “The heart wants what it wants. There’s no logic.” Likewise, this basement lover pursues his plastic paramour with a romantic and kooky zeal that is to be commended–we think.
