Take a listen to the first installment from Live Eye Tv’s Mix Series, featuring tracks from Derivatives, Prostitutes, Bary Center, Boy Harsher, and more! With all the great music coming our way from around the world, we decided to hand some of our favorite tracks over to our very own DJ Alter, to see what he would come up with. Minimal techno in focus, with plenty of noisy ambience thrown in for good measure, this mix celebrates a slew of underground musicians and labels that we’d like to bring to your attention. You’ll find a “playlist” below, but while you’re at it, fans of experimental electronics and techno should definitely checkout the French label Tsuku Boshi, Russia’s Klammklang, as well as London’s Bravura. In addition, Seattle’s Medical Records‘ imprint Transfusions, the Minneapolis-based label MJMJ Records, and the Atlanta labels CGI Records and DKA Records are all turning out top-notch techno and left-field electronics. So, as we like to say here, PLAY IT LOUD— and go buy some music! This stuff doesn’t grow on trees.
