NY-based electronic artist Joe Williams will debut his solo music project Motion Graphics this month, with a self-titled LP release due out August 26th on Domino Records. The upcoming album’s striking cover art “comes to life” in this new video by CULTURESPORT–a vision of the future set to a psychedelic light show. Seeming to fuse animal, human, and alien into one wetware enhanced life-form, this ambiguous creature is off and running. But to where, and why, is left to your imagination. Meanwhile, Williams’ soundtrack, composed using custom-created and randomized software instruments, mimics the auditory juggle of our ubiquitous news feeds and the never ending chatter of social media. With corporately produced wetware freshly installed, and the promise of a constantly plugged-in existence fully realized, maybe “Anyware”‘s hybrid form is running from the horror’s of it’s new life.
