CFM will return to In the Red next month with their Homegrown Paranoia EP, a 3-song 7″ that features “The Stooge” on the B-side. Charles Moothart (Fuzz, Ty Segall Band, GØGGS) released his Still Life of Citrus and Slime LP via the label this past April, and though the project initially began as a solo venture, he has since added Thomas Alvarez on drums, Michael Anderson on guitar, and Tyler Frome on bass to the ranks. “The Stooge” is a free-wheelin’ garage cut that finds Moothart leading his gang of speed demons to the open road, but with some serious wind at their backs–and a heavy dose of nitro-fueled effects–these boys find themselves launched into outer space for one wild ride. Think, biker rock for the space freaks!
