Moiré’s No Future LP is due out February 17th via Ghostly International. The London-based producer says the album is about “where we are as a society right now” while offering these four words as an even clearer description: “fear, hypocrisy, inequality, and lies.”
“Jupiter” is a monochromatic cut that knots drum and bass into stark dub textures while a male and female vocal sample circle its endless maze. The video for the track presents a total visual overload thru a de-localized barrage of oblique information. The end result can be quite hypnotic as the mind is forced to relinquish its’ grasp on reality to this blitz of obscure data.
