Yr Parents/Difficult Children Split ‘Your Own Good’

Yr Parents have joined forces with fellow Seattle punks Difficult Children and the result is a noisy split release called Your Own Good currently available digitally thru Bandcamp. Like most happy families, this union is loud, quarrelsome, and slightly dysfunctional, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Both sides of the equation here are given four tracks to do their thing and the results are a rambunctious ride thru spazzed-out territories of Emo, Hardcore, and Post-Punk. Yr Parents’ tracks were recorded and mixed by Burgess Carleton while the Difficult Children tracks were recorded and mixed by Jak Mckool. In addition, the cover art for Your Own Good, which you see above, was designed by Katrina Jurczynski.

Look for Yr Parents and Difficult Children to hit the road later this month for some select West Coast tour dates together. Sure hope they got two vans or this Brady Bunch is gonna be sharing some tight quarters as they fear and loath their way to Vegas and back. You can give Your Own Good a spin below, and after you pick up your new copy, check out the bands’ upcoming tour schedule beneath the Bandcamp embed…
