Last month we told you about the guys in Bee Bee Sea, a fuzzed-out Italian psych rock trio with a brand new LP called Sonic Boomerang out now on Dirty Water Records (digital, cassette)/Wild Honey Records (vinyl). Surf’s up on this tasty little number called “D.I. Why Why Why,” a raucous sing-along fueled by Damiano Negrisoli’s souped-up guitar riffs. The video for the single is directed by Marco Bianchini (Thelittlewhites), and it’s a head-spinning, visual trip. When a wrong turn finds the band lost down a country road on a dark night, things get weird pretty quickly. Pausing for an impromptu open-air jam session brings the freaks out of the shadows and has the band wishing they’d never left Castel Goffredo.
