Label News: Infidel Bodies To Release Viktor Kalima’s ‘Club Muscle’ Cassette

The Italian electronic label Infidel Bodies returns this coming February with Viktor Kalima‘s limited edition cassette release Club Muscle. The Finnish producer, real name Mikko Virtala, has also worked under the monikers Noir Hour and SEXFORSELFHELP, as well as in the duos CSD and New Sincerity with the musicians Olof Cotard and Eero Pulkkinen, respectively. Kalima had a track on the 2015 Finnish compilation Vihan P?iv?, alongside some of his other projects mentioned above, but Club Muscle is his official debut.

Featuring seven original tracks, as well as remixes by Violet Poison and the French producer Verset Zero, Club Muscle‘s hardcore Electro and Acid workouts exude an erotically charged EBM vibe. Leather-clad rhythms drive these tracks with a bold, sexual energy, and the producer attends to the finer details like a taskmaster with deviant intentions. Capable of administering both pain and pleasure in a single blow, Kalima’s kick drum animates these cuts with a blissfully punishing grind, while hair-trigger drum elements like snare and hi-hat ripple throughout. Throw in a head-spinning Acid House ambiance with dark Industrial echoes, and Club Muscle soon reveals itself to be a place where EVERYTHING GOES! Don’t believe us, just watch the teaser video below…

Look for Viktor Kalima‘s Club Muscle to come out as a limited edition cassette on February 21st via Infidel Bodies. You can check out the track listing after the YouTube embed below.
