New York City’s Acid Dad is readying their self-titled debut LP for release on March 9th via Greenway Records. The upcoming effort is a follow-up to last month’s Die Hard 7″ on the label, as well as their Let’s Plan A Robbery EP on Knife Tapes. “2Ci” is our first listen in on what the band has cooking for their new album and it’s a sugar dusted treat of indie-pop with an exhilarating edge. Cascading guitar lines interweave technicolor melody on the cut, while the group’s vocals have the kind of breezy intensity that will have you surfing the skies on cloud 9.
