Eartheater will release her IRISIRI LP on June 8th via PAN. This past April we previewed the album’s lead single, “C.L.I.T.” (“Curiosity Liberates Infinite Truth), and today artist, producer, and vocalist Alexandra Drewchin returns with a second single “Trespasses“off her upcoming record. The three-movement piece foregrounds the musician’s classical training and vocal prowess while juxtaposing those against her restless and experimental take on synth-pop.

The track opens with skittering but mechanistic rhythmic elements that resonate with a bit-crushed and electrical charge. Whirring sounds and ghostly shufflings of noise soon add a spell-binding sense of drift before Drewchin’s soaring vocals counter with a celestial ambiance. While her operatic voice adds a restive quality to “Trespasses,” the cut’s calming tones are often met with anxious production elements that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout.

Look for Eartheater to celebrate the release of IRISIRI at H0l0 in Brooklyn on June 16th, with support from Juliana Huxtable, Dark Sister, and Joey Lebeija. Tickets are available here.
