Mountain Movers return to Trouble In Mind Records on October 5th for the release of their seventh studio album, Pink Skies. The New Haven, Connecticut based band features vocalist/guitarist Dan Greene, bassist Rick Omonte, lead guitarist Kryssi Battalene, and drummer Ross Menze. Following up on their 2017 self-titled LP for the label, Pink Skies promises further trips down the “interstellar wormhole.” “This City” is our first listen in on the upcoming effort and it’s a slow burning ear slayer. Featuring a narcotic, head nodding groove from the rhythm section and vocalist Dan Greene’s wide-eyed drawl, this cut blasts off into outer space behind searing walls of feedback and gnarly wails of acid-laced guitar.
