Silver Age People is a new electronic music project helmed by Roberto Auser and Enfant Terrible label boss M. On September 30th the duo will release their limited edition 12″ “Flags And Crosses” via Gooiland Elektro/Enfant Terrible. The 6-track effort began as sketches for a new release by Roberto Auser, but when M. joined him for some studio sessions Silver Age People was born.
Traversing sonic terrain that travels between electro, techno, and industrial, with some seriously dark ambient thrown in for good measure, “Flags and Crosses” finds the pair crafting mechanized rhythms and bleak aural landscapes. The track “Body And Soul” kicks off the EP’s B-side and its’ doom blackened strains offer a deep dive into this pair’s aphotic waters. Emitting noxious clouds of noise animated by the shadowy throb of a kick drum, echoing hand claps, and swarms of ticking snare, at the half way point this cut drops off a cliff’s edge into a swirling k-hole of ambiance before returning to deliver heavy sonic damage.
