Julia Holter has confirmed additional North American tour dates following her stop at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on July 19th. The expanded schedule will see her performing in several cities for the first time including: Nashville, Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Santa Fe and Tijuana. In addition, Holter leaves to play a series of European dates in late May, and the tour will include a number of big festivals including: Primavera Sound, Best Kept Secret, Field Day, Halfway, and Roskilde.
Julia Holter is currently touring in support of her excellent 2018 LP Aviary, out now via Domino. The artist’s fifth long-player, she describes the effort as a journey thru the “the cacophony of the mind in a melting world.” Look for Holter to be joined on tour by a 6-piece band that includes Corey Fogel (percussion, vocals), Andrew Jones (bass), Dina Maccabee (violin/viola, vocals, electronics), Sarah Belle Reid (trumpet, flugelhorn, electronics), and Tashi Wada (bagpipe, synth).
