Today Kazu released her Adult Baby visual album trailer featuring the track “Meo.” Adult Baby is due out September 13th, and so far we’ve checked in on the Nosaj Thing remix of the cut “Salty,” as well as the video for the track. The accompanying Adult Baby visual album was directed by Eva Michon. Conceived as a narrative film inspired by the songs on the record, it was shot on the Italian island of Elba.
The trailer’s rousing visuals are soundtracked by the album cut “Meo.” Written by Kazu and former Blonde Redhead bandmate Amedeo Pace, the track features Kazu on vocals and CS60, Pace on baritone guitar, as well as Ryuichi Sakamoto on piano and synths, Greg Saunier on drums, and Robbie Lee on flute. Additionally, “Meo” includes an orchestral arrangement by Ian Mclellan Davis for the Budapest Art Orchestra.
