Orion has a new video for their debut single “Time For Crime.” Recorded in a bedroom in Rhode Island and mixed by Johnny Jewel, the track is out now via Italians Do It Better. Jewel premiered the cut while hosting Complete Control on Sirius XMU in April, and while an LP from the project is promised, a title and release date have yet to be announced.
The visual honors here go to the Italian animation duo Robotina, in concert with the production company So What. We last heard from Robotina’s Yassmin Yaghmai and Sara Taigher when they released their glowing visuals for Farah’s track “The Only Ones.” While that video featured sleek neon colored line drawings presented in the style of a graphic novel, “Time For Crime” is a more pointillist, 8-bit affair inspired by vintage Nintendo graphics.
