Club To Club has announced a third wave of artists to its yearly festival and the addition includes The XX’s Romy, Sophie, Hyperdub’s Mana, and more. The international avant-pop festival located in Torino, Italy is entering its nineteenth year and it will run from October 30th thru November 3rd. This year’s festival is entitled La Luce Al Buio: Season 2–following up on 2018’s programming. Inspired by a song from the Italian artist Franco Battiato, this year the series is an intercultural exploration of the meaning of light and darkness.
Look for Club To Club’s La Luce Al Buio to feature performances from Chromatics, Flume, James Blake, Battles, Black Midi, Holly Herndon, and much more. You can find a full schedule of the performances below. In addition, C2C19 will find the animator and visual artist Weirdcore back to provide visuals. You can view his trailer for the event here. The festival is also running at the same time as the Italian art fair Artissima, and C2C19 will open with video art screenings in collaboration with the fair.
