Lightning Bolt released a new video this week for the track “Blow To The Head” off the duo’s seventh full-length Sonic Citadel out now on Thrill Jockey. The visuals are directed by Caleb Wood and they were featured this past Saturday during the Toonami block on Adult Swim. “Blow To The Head” is described as a “Black Pus track on steroids.” Considering it includes an onslaught of some seriously monstrous drumming from Brian Chippendale, the reference to his experimental side project seems quite apt. Wood follows suit with eye searing visuals animated on rapid-fire, and they are the perfect accompaniment to this apocalyptic track.
