Daughters “Guest House”

Daughters return with a new video for “Guest House” off their stellar 2018 LP You Won’t Get What You Want out now Ipecac Recordings. Directed by photographer/filmmaker A.F. Cortés, the black and white visuals depict a solitary man’s psychological unraveling. With “Guest House” providing a brutal soundtrack, Cortés uses stark but metaphoric imagery in this unnerving new video. Describing the director’s efforts, Daughters’ vocalist Alexis Marshall explains:

“It is always exciting to see our work interpreted by talented artists. We first became familiar with Andres through his wonderful photographic work. His ability to capture unique moments, often missed by other photographers, is uncanny and we trusted him to be able to bring the same abilities as a director.”

Daughters launch their North American Winter tour with a sold-out night in Seattle at Neumos on November 30th. Check out a full list of the band’s upcoming dates after the YouTube embed below.
