The experimental Russian electronic label Klammklang is readying the release of Lovozero‘s Descend soundtrack. Due out on February 4th, this limited edition cassette plus zine is being issued in a numbered run of 50. Descend was a multi-disciplinary performance that premiered on June 26th at Mutabor Moscow–an expansive club and performance space in the city. The event was conceived and curated by Anastasia Tolchneva (Lovozero), Anna Kravchenko, and Masha Kharitonova. Featuring sculptor and movement, the multi-level performance was soundtracked by Tolchneva’s audio project Lovozero.

Droning tones set the stage as bit-crushed voices and foreboding crackles of electric noise reverberate through the space. Ambient in nature and completely unsettling, Lovozero’s alien sound world is the kind of eerie place that will have your hair standing on end in frightening anticipation.
