Sir Richard Bishop is readying the release of his Oneiric Formulary LP via Drag City on April 17th. The first single from the album is called “Celerity,” and it arrives today with a new video by the artist. The track features voluble flurries of brash and resonant guitar circling in a seemingly impassioned “war of words.” Bishop’s dextrous runs are animated conversations of circling notes. Similarly, his video of excited puppets conversing and galavanting, seemingly drawn from his many travels abroad, is full of garrulous and bawdy energy.
