Aborted Tortoise is a Perth-based punk outfit, and on their new track “Violent Consumer” they deliver a visceral and ready-to-hand style that is the perfect antidote for these over sanitized times. Following an invitation from the Italian label Goodbye Boozy Records to cut a 7″, the boys holed up with their four-track to lay down the upcoming EP “Scale Model Subsistence Vendor” due out May 1st. Clocking in at just over nine minutes across four songs, on a track like “Violent Consumer” their terse hyperactive style wastes no time delivering a dire warning about the dangers of a post-apocalyptic consumer society.
