Hyperlacrimae is the post-industrial electronic duo comprised of the Italian musicians Erminio Granata (11xxx27) and Carmine Laurenza (Nocturnerror). The pair is currently readying the release of their limited edition cassette Yoga Darśana via Infidel Bodies. A follow up to the 2019 LP Through the lies of Mr. Nasotti, also out on the label, Hyperlacrimae’s newest effort finds them continuing to investigate ritualized transgression through their aggressive sonic experiments. Using pagan-style rhythms, hypnotic looping, and eerie vocal inducements, the duo explores obsession, fetish, Chaos, and the wild world of the Unconscious.
A release date is yet to be announced for Yoga Darśana, but we do know that the effort will include remixes by the electronic artists Shrouds, Impure Secretion, and Scarpa. Below you can watch a short video teaser…
