This week Art Feynman returned with a third single entitled “Not My Guy” from his upcoming Half Price at 3:30 LP due out June 26th via Western Vinyl. In a Q & A with Cool Hunting, the musician explains that the song was written early on in the record’s process, right after the election of Trump. Playful but incisive, it takes a definite swipe at his unpopular presidency with the line: “Came in through the back, jack, on America’s heart-attack.” Groovy, laidback rhythms and a Highlife vibe follow providing the perfect ruse for hiding Art Feynman’s poison pen as he chides the Orange Fool for raising the monster from the swamp. Let’s face it…he’s not our guy, he’s Putin’s guy.
