Very intriguing new visuals from Sergio Calderón and Céli Lee for the track “There’s More To Be Found” from their debut 2020 LP The Eternal Dice out now on the duo’s imprint Entertaining Violence. Like walking the tightrope of a spider web or stepping delicately through a minefield, this track finds the vocalist and guitarist following each other step for step as though their very lives depended on it. Fused in this act of creation and perched atop its precarious structure, there’s a fragile intimacy here that feels like it could collapse at any moment.
Rest assured, though, this duo is no stranger to the perils of creating without a net, as an element of improvisation has always seemed to be part of their approach. On “There’s More To Be Found,” it is sharpened into a razor-thin blade edge with Death on both sides. Only an impeccable act of creation will see these two across its perilous expanse, and as this track proves they are more than up for the challenge. Below, you can watch the eerie visuals accompanying the song. While you’re at it, don’t miss the video for “The Northern World,” another standout single from The Eternal Dice.
