Affet Robot (translates as Forgive Robot) has a new video for his track “Budala” from the upcoming LP Fiyasko due out January 29th, 2021. Eren Günsan leads the Istanbul-based darkwave project, combining moody, ’80s-style analog-synth with propulsive rhythms. Having released his debut LP Röntgen in 2017, Günsan would go on to record his 2019 EP “Huzursuz Seyirler” at Red Bull Studios in Amsterdam.
“Budala” is the upcoming album’s first single, and the title translates as “Fool.” The song’s melancholy is animated by an explosive and driving rhythm, combining shadowy, introspective lyrics with extroverted and plangent melody. Directed by Gökay Çatak and Mert Şen, the video features the dancer Burcu Uçatenik, and her expressive movements are a perfect accompaniment to this dynamic track.
