Acre’s Aaron Davis has returned with a new project entitled Spiritual Exit. A long time resident of the Pacific Northwest, and a veteran of the region’s experimental music scene, Acre was the artist’s long-running drone project. Having reemerged as Spiritual Exit, Davis is readying his Themes of Rumination album’s self-release digitally and via limited edition 12″ vinyl on March 5th. On “Painless,” the effort’s introspective lead track, salubrious tones glow in slow motion, mantric repetition before accelerating into emotive exhortations of sonic release.
