Wiertz uses various analog gear in his productions, and on “Texel,” it lends the hard-driving bass-lines muscular tension and elastic bounce. Combined with kinetic rhythms and deft drum breaks, Wiertz delivers an on-point and low-end driven techno full of thrilling surprises.
