The LA-based Turkish guitarist Deniz Cuylan released his No Such Thing As Free Will LP today via Hush Hush Records. Additionally, the musician follows up the videos “Object Of Desire” and “Flaneurs In Hakone” with a new visual effort for the track “She Was Always Here.” Directed by Irmak Altiner and featuring the performance artist Bahar Temiz, the video follows the performer’s dramatic movements set against a stark backdrop of rock, beach, and ocean. With Cuylan’s uplifting guitar parts spiraling through warm and glowing tones, and the dancer’s kinetic movements rooting body to earth, the music and imagery combine to impart a sense of elemental balance.
