Russian producer EEBONE was featured this week on LBR Records’ “1 Track Every 2 Weeks” promotional series. The Swiss-based label continues to support up-and-coming electronic producers with the mix. EEBONE’s cut “Resonance” will be the thirteenth track to be featured in this continuing collection. The producer is a member of Raw Russian, a label exploring the “post-Soviet underground scene.”
While the artist’s 2019 cassette “Enigmatic” tended towards the late-night spectrum of Deep House, this new offering follows those leanings down a more Electro path. “Resonance” is underpinned by an infectious and kinetic groove, even as its zoned-out wanderings discover some strange and foggy corridors. Dubbed out elements add a hall of mirrors feel to the track, while ghost-like vocal samples multiply their dislocating effects.
