White Hills “Digital Trash”

The Avant psych-rockers White Hills have a new video for “Digital Trash,” off the band’s 2020 LP Splintered Metal Sky out on God Unknown RecordsDave W. and Ego Sensation explain that the song and video are nods to the King of Pop Art, Andy Warhol, and his influence can be felt throughout. From the video’s opening graphic-style layout and screen test feel to its echo of Warhol’s prediction that in the future, everyone would be famous for 15 minutes, these visuals take you down the rabbit hole on a drug-fueled, doom scrolling bender of epic, selfie-taking proportions.

While you’re at it, don’t miss the White Hills’ one-time only virtual concert on April 22nd at 9 pm EST/PST/CET/AEDT for the launch of a new artist-run performance site called Supernovasect.
