Wladyslaw Trejo has released an ultra-limited 7″ entitled “Nuestra Voz,” out now via Leipzig Inn Records. Dedicated to the city of Warsaw, the record is being issued in a limited run of thirteen lathe cut copies. Known for his work in the synth-wave duo Slovenska Televiza, this project represents his solo efforts with the new release following up on 2020’s ES UNA BESTIA out on Polytechnic Youth.

“Nuestra Voz” is “a poem wrapped in sharp synthesizers,” and we are told that the anthemic, rhythmically driving track deals with “the silent threat of totalitarianism.” The video uses images from the short documentary Warszawa 1956, directed by Jerzy Bossak and Jaroslaw Brzozowski. War ravished, the cities’ bombed-out buildings serve as a sobering backdrop, as families try to wrestle a way of life from their overwhelming circumstances.
